Why are his hips so much higher than his shoulders? Arent most breeds shoulders higher and the hips slope downaward? Is that just a genetic fubar or indicative of one of his breeds?

He's a stoic. He's strong willed & hard headed. Very dominant acting, But not aggresive. He will see another dog and act as if he's going to go kill it, but instead he just wants to play/ dominate the other dog. He's like a teenage punk who thinks he's the ****. He wants to prove it to everyone...

Thanx for all of yalls input. Its been a few months and Buddys getting bigger. He's about 9mos old now and right at 80lbs. Despite negative reviews, I had a DNA test done for S&G. My Vet has always held the opinion that he's AB/Pyrenees or APB/Pyrenees mix. Lo & behold, the results came back...

Thanx for all yalls opinions. I hit a few catahouls breeders up for their opinion and it was a no-go. despite finding pics of dogs that looked exactly like him, There were a few differences. His ears sit much higher on the head for one. Bottom line, he's a an ABD, with some other stuff in him...

Ill say, Thats the best guess Ive seen. Budy looks exactly like that dog! But, realistically speaking, He's a **** mutt with a large influence of ABD.

His coat is very coarse, Like a horses tail. The hair is very thin & youre able to darn near see his skin everywhere on his body. I dont know if you can see in the pics, But the black spots on top are actually his skin underneath. My Vets guess is Pyranese/AB. I couldnt understand why he thought...

Speaking of those DNA tests, How much are they & who does them? Oddly enought though, Ive had more people stop me when im walking Buddy & comment that he's ABD, Or at least he has some in him. Ive had a vet tech swear up and down that hes APBT. IMO, He's way too big for that.

Well my puppy is beginning to get fairly big now. He's right at 55lb now and I still wonder what else he might be mixed with. Just curious for some different opinions on what all he might have in him. My guess is American Bulldog/Lab/Pit Bull, Or just American Bulldog/ Lab. What do yall think...

Thanx for yalls input. Im no expert, But just my personal opinion, Id go with the LAB/Bulldog mix. From puppy pics of other bulldogs, His ears are much larger and floppier, Like a Labs. I also was under the impression that the double-dewclaws could appear in any breed & was just a trait passed...

If you shave a Pyre bald, They have the spotted skin similar to dalmation markings.

Well the reason for the Pyrenees guess was the spotted (dalmation like) body & the double dewclaws on his rear feet. Ive always been under the impression that thats an indication of a big breed & often times Pyrenees. He's a big boy for a 3 mos. old. He weighed almost 30 lbs @ the vet.

Yeh, I named him after an old country boy buddy of mine from Arkansas that named a similar dog we took in back in college, He called him "Rylo". You know, With a country twang to it. Since he's a country dog, I figured why not. Silly I suppose, But it kind of fits I guess.
