a medium/larger dog that loves to play, can be calm, isn't agressive towards people.... Sigh I don't know what to do

visit a shelter?

The shelter by my house... has only mixes and none of them fit me really... I only know of one around my house..

I'll do the labs I find first, I'll only find you purebreds (or any that don't say mixed in their profile) unless you say otherwise (simply because if you want mixes then I'll give you hundreds of lab mixes, they are a very common mix) OR you can request labs and lab mixes and I'll only show lab mixes that really resemble labs.

Also do they need to be good with Kids, cats or dogs? Would you be ok with a shy dog?

No,, gahh.. i think you misunderstood me, im looking for SHELTERS that i can visit!

LOL, I know people have to be careful around me, three pages of dog is what you're looking at especially since you chose labs, Goldens and German Shepherds as your dogs, Collies will have less but the other three will be loaded. I think I'll need a warning in my siggy "WARING: I am a Petfinder addict, i will find you all dogs possible and it will make your head hurt and eyes bleed."

So am I too far yet? I'll stop after every petfinder page to see if I'm too far. Now some are breed specific rescues since you don't know exactly what you want yet. Also I did not check to see if they are foster only or they have facilities, you'll have to look through that yourself and find the address, if the page does not have one you can try googling the name of the shelter.
