I'd feed Karma and feed half kibble half high end canned to increase the protein as well as the moisture in your dogs food.(Evo 95% meat would be a good choice)- Karma's pretty expensive here.
I got to the point with feeding top end kibble + canned that it was cheaper or about the same to do raw. Now I do mostly raw and do good kibble with canned when I am lazy or travelling.
I do kibble in the mornings, raw in the evenings. Mostly 'cuz I don't even want to look at raw over my first cup of coffee. :yikes:
We had three regurgitation episodes after raw chicken last week. I think it was the chicken liver I tossed in with the breast/leg/thigh. Tonight no liver, no barf. So far (fingers crossed).
I haven't tried canned food with CeCe yet. I can't get past the memory of canned food 20+ years ago. You know the stuff, a coagulated gelatinous pile of nondescript pieces parts. I recall that if you opened both ends of the can it slithered out of its metal reservoir with a skooshing sound which was very unappetizing. And the gas! OMG the gas!
