Pit bulls and pit/lab/rottie type mixes. Coming in second would be Shih Tzus and other small, smush-faced, long-haired dogs.

I took M&M&M to the dog beach the other day, and it seems like the majority of dogs there at golden retrievers, labradors, or the mixes of these two breeds.

We have a good mix of dogs in our own neighborhood..........from tiny chihuauas all the way up the scale to a couple of gorgeous GSD's but I see more BOXERS in my town than any other breed.

Toy Poodles, Chihuahuas, and Pit Bull Terriers.

Can't go into any animal store without at least three Chihuahuas being there.

Labs. The vast majority of dogs in my neighborhood are black labs. Coming in second for our neighborhood is... dun dun dun... papillons! No joke, there's 3 of them in our small subdivision. The other papillon on our street is named Xena. We also have an ACD, Akita, Mini Schnauzer, two bichons, two shelties (mine), a pyr, a border collie, yorkie, old english, a pembie, a golden, and one lab/golden. And I can name 10 labs by name.

I've just realized this, but I've never even seen a pit except in a dog store. I've been around AKC AmStaffs though as Victor and Jackie handled them. I've never seen a pit in a pet environment though.

Also weird is that there is only one mutt in our neighborhood. Our old neighborhood was full of mutts.

Big dogs are definitely in here. Old neighborhood was more 'city' so small dogs were the thing. Either that or a GSD or GSDx.
