The Venting Thread

I have to go back to work tomorrow I've only worked 5 days in the last 5 weeks I haven't slept at a normal hour since getting home

Dreading it!!

So, I started PT for my ankle problems. I AM A TERRIBLE PATIENT!

I was supposed to try two 5 min runs in the two weeks I had between appointments. I now have 2 days and I'm not supposed to run two days in a row. That means I should run tonight. Except I ate a bunch of junk food today. Erg.

But HEY, my exercises are getting easier and I'm doing those on a mostly regular basis!

Grumblegrumble.

I've got homework and laundry and dishes and a filthy house and all I have motivation to do is sit online. Grouchy-butt husband was grouchy before he left for work and now I'm being a grouchy-butt even though there is no one to be grouchy to.

I'm fairly certain the woman that we share the front door/hallway with is a prostitute.

Josh took the garbage out one night and she was standing fully nude in the window.
Yesterday I locked the front door on our way out and some random guy, whom we've never seen before, freaked out because the door was locked.

I mean, I get that at any given time I can look out off my balcony and see a few hookers on the corners. But living below us? Ick...

Torrents.

I don't normally publicly condone them because you can get in trouble, but in this case you've legitimately paid for those albums so torrenting, IMO, isn't pirating in this case.

Rant #2 for the day.
Just registered for my final year courses.
I had it set up so that all of my classes for first semester would be online, so I would be able to stay here instead of moving back home.

Well at the last freaking minute the school decided to change the online option of my only mandatory class to "Allied Health Science" only. I'm in "Comprehensive Health Science"

So I have to move back for Tuesday nights 3:40-5pm. I've been told it's a lot of group work too. Great.
I guess I will be going back to Sobeys too then.

Had a terrible dream sometime early this morning. It's thrown me completely off and I feel terrible and sad and just....

And I have about 10000000000 things to do today but I can't focus.

Ridiculously overly tired this morning... I put the car in drive rather than reverse and almost ran into my mom's car in the driveway. I didn't - but WTF? Then when I left for work I attempted to drive to the radio station. I haven't worked there for nearly two years and in those two years I have NEVER tried to drive to the station instead of my actual job. W.T.F.

Then got to work to find the new person standing outside the door. Ughhhhhh. I wanted to get in and get settled and stuff. Instead BAM here is that person you didn't want them to hire. Why. Why why why.


Hoping today some of the places I applied to last week will get in touch with me for interviews and stuff... ugh.

Our dog training/trialing center and boarding/daycare center was completely demolished last night in a tornado. TONS of damage, half the building is gone, our agility ring is soaked and much equipment is gone/ruined. Many dogs got out, all found thankfully.

So, so sad.

That's horrible! I am glad the dogs were found, it's going to be hard to recover though I imagine.

Order a hat off TWLOHA, go through paypal (which will not let me change my home addy), and well. Now it's probably going to get shipped to the wrong place. Did contact TWLOHA though, so hopefully they get back to me before it's shipped off!!!!

That's what I'm going to end up doing, but I've had issues with quality in the past. Sounds decent on my computer, but when coming out of a good speaker system (like the car) sounds horrible. But, we will see!

Yeah today was a sucky and stressful day.

Juno's first lure coursing class was canceled tonight because of torrential downpours which is major sad. And of course mother nature likes to be cruel and it was PERFECT and sunny and not hot/humid at the time class would have started. Typical

We had a cat come into work "lethargic, not really eating." Yeah well he's pretty jaundiced and had a temperature of 106.6 degrees. It's like 4pm when he comes in, we close at 7. Owner can't afford overnight care at an emergency clinic. He was reluctant to allow us to place an IV catheter and keep him on fluids at our clinic overnight. Our attempts at getting this cat to cool down were NOT working. By the time we left at 7:30 - late, because we really wanted some sort of improvement before leaving - his temp was still 106. Owner knows we aren't 24 hour care and can't stay and cool this cat off. I just hate leaving him alone and not knowing if he's okay or what.

And I guess my neighbor died in my front yard today so that's... kinda weird...

Weird freaking dreams this morning have left me a little unsettled. I don't even really remember what they were about, but the emotions left over are not good ones.

I need to get a handle on my head. My issues are consuming me and I go into a zone sometimes where I'm down and out and it pushes people away. My therapist basically fired me, my doc signed me off to a psych who says I'm not bad enough to do anything and to just cheer up and feel better. Because that'll help me... I feel stuck. I feel like no one wants to help me unless I'm harming myself physically or running away thousands of kms or this or that.

Have you seen pictures of the damage? I hope she can rebuild. That was the best place to go for training. I am glad none of the dogs and people where injured.

I'm definitely not looking forward to going to my job. The hours suck,& all you do is clean.

My new coworker- the insane one- worked until 5:30 am this morning. She also came in on one of her sundays off and worked all day. For no reason, just sending email after email all night about things she wants us to change and workflows. Oh and an email to let us all know she was up working all night.

I don't even....what is wrong with her? I really don't. Baffles me.
