New member here. Just thought I'd introduce myself and my 9-year-old standard eskie, Snowball. We adopted him 18 months ago from the local shelter. He was picked up as a stray, so we don't know much about his background. He had a current rabies tag and name tag on his collar when he was caught, so we know that he received regular vet care in a community several hours away as the shelter was able to get his previous vet records, but neither the shelter staff nor the vet's office were able to contact his owners, which just highlights the importance of making sure your contact info is up to date! We think he was raised in a pretty good family, as he was well fed, adores toddlers, and obviously had previous training.
He doesn't play much but can be pretty silly. He likes to bark, and loves food.

We also have a cat named Murdoch, who's favourite activity is murdering things, especially stray hair bands or hands.
