LOL at Abrams. I wish Fable liked chew toys more. It would help keep her little brain occupied. Apparently it's only worth her time if the chewy in question is food or not. Otherwise she likes squeaky plushies and tugs. And my socks.
Of all the photos I took the other day.. why did THIS ONE have to be out of focus??
I can't bring myself to delete it. Ezra looks like the Chubby Bubbles girl. Mimi. I don't even know. Mimi forgot how to dog, apparently.

I love that picture so hard.

I wish my other dogs liked to chew more too ... I think they would be better for it (like less stress and whatnot) but the only one who likes to chew is Buddy, Josefina used to be a really avid chewer but when she hit about 3 or 4 she just ... stopped. she will chew raw bones, but as far as antlers and whatever, she really isn't into it.

We are starting to get REAL antsy around here. 6 month old puppies suck when they don't get exercise.

We have a trainer coming out on Wednesday to start working on Cajun's separation anxiety. Our first bit of advice that we got over the phone when scheduling this was NO CRATING until we get this worked on. That will be interesting. Now I just have to hope I can switch shifts with someone at work so that I can get off in time to get home for this, otherwise I'm gonna miss it completely and I don't know how much I can expect my mom to "get" what's going on!

I love my dogs so, so much. They're just... wonderful. I don't know what I'd do without them. I'm in bed sick and hurting and Rowan is diligently curled up next to me keeping me safe and happy. Riff is wired because we haven't been out in a while (too long for him) but even though he's running around the house playing, he comes in, hops on the bed and lies his head on me every few minutes, tail wagging.

Buddy was really restless in his crate (whining, not settling ... Lots of lip licking) so I think he has to go out, so I out him out and wait and five minutes later I hear him barking in the corner of the yard ... Stupid jerk prolly heard something it side aNd wanted to see what it was ... Asshole :wall: .

Oh well at least it wasn't a skunk :/

Rider's got a short boy problem.

The snow here is almost over his back and he cannot find a place shallow enough to pee. :rofl1:

Our nicely plowed driveway is now covered in yellow.

Leo is getting neutered today.

I dropped him off in the morning, and will be picking him up in the evening.
They told me the surgery should be done in the next two hours, so hopefully I should be hearing from them soon, that everything went well.

I am not really nervous...but then I keep thinking about what if something goes wrong.
At least he is a boy dog, which makes the whole thing so much less complicated.

I am sure there will be plenty of woe when I pick him up.

Astro is such a drama queen. He accidentally wedges his bully stick in between the couch cushions, then gets upset that he can't keep chewing it/can't find it, so he has to flop on his back and groan loudly until I pay attention to him. Can't get it himself, oh no - he just digs and cries and flops and groans. This happens near daily. JUST DON'T LET THE BULLY STICK FALL BETWEEN THE COUCH CUSHIONS AND ALL YOUR PROBLEMS WILL BE SOLVED, SPOILED DOG

Abrams does this. Repeatedly. On purpose. And then doesn't understand why I yell at him when he's digging up the couch cushions to get to a toy he shoved under them.

I get this text from my mom at 3pm today: "how long do you think Juno can go without going to the bathroom??"

That dog just plain old was NOT going to go outside today, even if it killed her. We got up this morning and the normal routine for her is eat breakfast, go outside, come in and go back to bed. Today she decided the routine would be eat breakfast, go to bed. Didn't even make an attempt to go outside, didn't even go to the door and pretend she wanted to go out, she just straight up crawled back in bed. She's no dummy :lol-sign:

She did eventually go out at dinner time.

My dogs just got into some sort of MAJOR pissing match. This really rarely happens between them and I couldn't see what it was about. They cut it out with a loud 'HEY!' from me. I'm gonna bet the tricolor one started it. She is being crazily wound up tonight after agility. Not sure why. In agility she was actually pretty good and not wild at all.

I do have to laugh a bit at Summer trying to be scary showing her lack of upper teeth.

ETA: Just prior to this Mia had found a rabbit in the back yard and chased it all the way around the yard a few times. Im betting she was still just a bit too worked up about the bunny.

Middie loves me being sick. I snuggle in bed with him all day and all night. I forget to feed him because he never asks, so when I remember I'm too exhausted to go downstairs and give him kibble. . . so he gets all the trail mix bars and beef jerky thingies that I can't eat. I can't finish off any of my food, so he gets to have half my soup every time I muster up the effort to get some.

Fable is not perfect on a leash, not at all. She's kind of zigzaggy when she's excited.
But one thing I frigging love about her is that she's never pulled! The first time she hit the end of the leash she stopped and turned around to look at me. No pulling, just "Oh, you stopped- what's up?"

Edit: Gah, sorry the picture is huge! I am going to bed now though, will figure it out in the morning

Joey has hardly been eating lately. His teeth are fine. No broken teeth. No swollen gums. He is acting completely normal. Still plays just as much as usual and doesn't seem to be ill at all other than he just doesn't want to eat much. He isn't letting himself starve. He will eat a little here and there, but this is my dog that loves food and usually eats so fast that I have to float his food to slow him down. He usually finishes his meal in no time at all and now if I put his food in his crate in the morning it will still be there untouched hours later. This is so weird for him.

He has been on the same food for months now so his food hasn't changed too recently. I don't know if it's a physical thing, pyschological or if he is just starting to regulate himself now that he is up at a good weight.

Only thing that I can think of that has changed recently was we reorganized our living space, moved furniture around etc but we have done that before without it affecting him and we didn't move his crate at all so no idea. Like I said, he seems completely fine otherwise.

Could he be getting bored of this food? Should I offer him something different? I have canned food I can try mixing in too. He does have a vet appointment coming up in a little bit for vaccines so as long as he doesn't seem ill and is still eating some I will probably hold out till then to check it out with the vet. If he stops eating completely or if anything else seems off I will take him sooner.

Abrams is finally slowing down growth wise! Whoot! Only four pounds this past month instead of ten.

Also, baby boy is growing up. He teeth chattered after smelling a female dog's urine today. And yet, he still squats like a girl to pee. LOL
