Ripley hasn't been feeling good since he came back home (he and Keira were away this past weekend cause we were gone), so I called the person he was staying with to see if he got into something. She proceeded to try to tell me that no, he didn't, other than maybe some leaves and whatnot in the yard, and that he was probably just stressed from coming home. Um, no. I know my dog, and I know his stress signs, and he is not stressed. Her reason? Because if he did eat something he shouldn't have, his system would have gotten rid of it by now (three days later). Maybe she's right, maybe not. I don't know why he's not feeling well, but I do know he's not stressed. If anything, maybe he's getting rid of stress from being away and staying at two separate houses on the weekend... but he's not stressed from being home. I wish this person would listen and mind her own business sometimes and understand that I know this dog better than anybody. Also, she said to try crating him tomorrow when we're gone because maybe he's stressed from being shut in my bedroom loose. Then she got mad when she found it he doesn't own a crate anymore. I got rid of it because it was broken, and I haven't gotten a new one yet because he barely used it anyway. And he's been staying loose in my room ever since we moved into this house. I highly doubt it's suddenly a problem. He likes it in there.
But anyway, cleaning up vomit and diarrhea three days in a row in my bedroom really sucks and I hope whatever is bothering him goes away soon. Poor big guy. He virtually never throws up... I can't even remember the last time. Not since he was a puppy I think. He's fine otherwise.
