My gecko died. He was fine at the beginning if the week, then had a really nasty poop, but the next day he had a good shed, so I thought he was fine. Friday he was hanging out on the ground of his terrarium, but looked normal, then yesterday his eyes looked a little sunken in. I misted him extra well, but this morning I found him on the ground with his mouth open and eyes sunken in.

I knew the move would be hard on him, but we gave him his own room and he seemed to be doing well. His decline was so sudden and I feel like I didn't do enough to save him.

Bye my baby dinosaur.

I got accidentally glutened... I'm not 100% sure from what, but I think I know. At 1:30 in the morning I staggered down the hall, still half asleep and dreaming, and got violently sick. Stomach cramps so bad I thought I was going to pass out. Lasted about an hour with me trying to sneak back to bed in the middle of it and then had to hop up and run back like NOPE.

The weirdest part is that somewhere in the middle of all the pain and half-awake and being super sick I thought to myself, "Wow, I haven't been sick like this in so long, I forgot how bad it was. This used to be NORMAL for me. Why did I ever accept this as normal? It's terrible!"

I am at least all better now. But I slept way later than I wanted because I was up being sick for a while then had to fall back asleep.

WTF is wrong with this summer. It's not even 50F out, its pooring rain and this has been going on for weeks. The sun hasn't been out for more than 4 days since OCTOBER. I'm moving to somewhere sunny. :(

Found a tick on Squash after our run and now I have the crawlies. I combed Maisy and checked her all over and didn't find any, but who knows? I think I only want white, short haired dogs from now on. *shudder*

I was talking to my mom about how my new shoes are already worn out, and I think I walk really stupidly and dragging my heels for it to happen.

Then we started talking about when I was a kid, and I said something like "maybe if you took me to a specialist I wouldn't walk stupid!". Apparently, they did. Apparently they were told I was a lazy walker and would grow out of it.

I'm now 22. NOT GROWN OUT OF IT. My poor heels.

I drag my toes. I got brand new shoes last week and the toes are already all scuffed up. The only shoes I walk even halfway decently in are VFFs.

Auggie messed with his foot and got it irritated. Yesterday I put some Sulfodene ointment on it and socked him. I put the cone on whenever he's in the crate so he can't take his sock off.

This morning I got out to Target to buy some epsom salts so we just did a soak in warm water and epsom salt. I'm just not sure if I can avoid having to take him to the vet and get meds for it. =< It's definitely red and irritated but I don't think it's swollen, my mom looked and it and she says not swollen also.

Can't do anything until Tuesday anyway and even then my vet(s) suck for work in appointments... *sigh*

Having legit anxiety over nothing (my summer work schedule) and I feel like crying. What is wrong with me? I seriously feel like busting out bawling.

Yah I've heard that. I can't wear VFFs, I can't have anything between my toes.

You should never look up causes for heel dragging. I now have MS and multiple tumors. Stupid Google.

Not anything serious, but I'm missing having a poodle around :( It's been almost 3 years since Lucky died. We had a dog come into work for a groom the other day, a little miniature poodle (maybe mix) that she'd found running around on the street, and he was just such a love. I love my boys to death and Rowan is the Best Dog Ever, but poodles are just... different. I grew up with them and I guess there's a poodle-sized hole in my heart I wasn't aware of until just recently.
