Oh, God. Usually big dogs and dogs with long coats look the most awkward, but Lucy looked really, really weird as a teenager. She was fugly!

Morgan's "teenage" months were... complicated.

He started out with the "stocky" phase.
(Though I think he was still pretty handsome.)

The on to the "really long legs" phase.
(This isn't really the greatest picture of the long legs, but it was the best I could find right now.)

Closely followed by the "really big head" phase.

And finally, the "I don't know where any of my limbs are" phase.

Poor awkward dog.

It wasn't much before the teenage phase(s) that he started developing his colors. As a baby he was all black... the only brown on him was a couple patches behind his ears!
