So I am curious though, why him over the chi? Not that that's a bad thing of course, bcs are one of my favorite breeds.

I've wanted a BC for years... Ian didn't want one at the time because we lived in an apartment.

We started talking about getting a "bigger" dog about a month ago when Devon was going to rehome Spring... so Ian agreed to getting a big dog then.

I wanted a 4th dog and chihuahuas were already the breed I was familiar with. We also didn't want a larger dog as a young puppy... so this worked out for us. We get a dog that is started on training but still a puppy at the same time.

As soon as I'm out of an apartment, I'm getting a bc puppy too. ;) I totally understand you there.

Oh, he's cute! I have to admit, though, I have this hilarious mental picture of a pack of irritated chis in the yard....being ringed by a madly circling BC puppy: "Moommmm! The #$%@^ noob's trying to herd us again!"

He's gorgeous!! I love his coat/markings, and he looks full of personality. I hope everything works out this time around! :)

fingers crossed, hes sure cute and its going to be a big change from the wowies, but im sure he'll learn to bow to the royalty that is rylie pretty quickly, and im sure tucker will give him a run for his money too!

Is there anything in particular that I'll need to buy before I bring him home on Saturday? BC puppeh comes with his 36" crate, crate pad, food/water dishes, toys, collar, leash, and the rest of the food he's on (Natural Balance).

I really can't think of anything else that he'll need right away.
