What are your breeding goals if you are breeding the same pair repeatedly?

And since your site says you are breeding to the AKC standards.. why are you breeding a cream?

I don't see much on your site for health testing, and why is your guarantee for only one year on things that aren't generally tested for until the pup is 2 years?

I'm looking at your website, but I don't see anything pertaining to titles, health testing, etc.

Sure... there are loads of these dogs in shelters... Dizzy do you expect us just to accept and say YAY!!!! ?

If they have a valid reason they can explain. If not they are BYB who are harming their breed of choice by producing un health tested dogs with no guarantee with no plan other than to sell pups...

No harm at all. But why do people always ram crap down people on their 1st post.

I don't think anyone was craping.. they were asking questions. Or are we supposed to be falsely happy for a few posts and then ask the questions? Actually when people post in the welcome thread I ALWAY say welcome and never ask those sorts of things. But when you put your site on the SITE area of the forum its not unusual to expect some discussion on the site.. whether its your 1st post or you 10,000 post...

I love to welcome new members , but people who join only to advertise really erk me !

Though, that does not assure that the parents are tested, I do know some breeders who do test and don't mention it on the site. 1 year is not much of a guarantee, but it is hard to find good guarantee's, and that's fairly average.

I know nothing about the breed, and cannot say much, but I don't much like jumping all over 1st time posters either.... I just take a wait and see attitude, if they posted just to advertise, ignoring it is the best bet, because all these posts (mine included) are doing is keeping the thread active!

That's kind of my point, I never disagreed with you, just said that by commenting on threads that seem like advertising, we just "bump" them and get them more hits, therefore we end up helping them

That maybe average as even pet stores offer that. Good breeders of any kind offer more than that.

And IMO with lurkers its good to point out. WHen you google their kennel THIS thread will come up. Discussions of this kind can do good things in the way of education...

Well, you don't know for sure. Maybe they wanted to stay longer but after the warm reception they got, they probably will not anymore. And this section of the forum is for websites and links anyways, so I don't see a problem.

Well lets think this through...

I browsed their site and see what they wrote. They claim to be experts in the breed. They claim to be breeding to the AKC standard.... BUT they are breeding non health tested dogs of colours that are a disqualification for that breed.

Now if they had a great reason to do so and they were legit they would explain that.

They breed the same pair over and over. (another sign of a byb)

They have no titles of any kind on their dogs.

They have the same health guarantee as you can get from a pet store (basically worthless)

Just FYI Boxer when I posted my site when I joined (though I did it AFTER introducing myself and joining in some threads) I got some similar questions... I answered them honestly and surprise I am still here...

If someone has nothing to hide or has a good reason all they have to do is state it.


AND the biggest clue they are just a byb looking for free advertising.....
The fact they never came back even to look at the thread REALLY shows their true intentions. They haven't logged on to chaz since the exact min they posted this thread.....
