I think he just joined to promote himself...but I also think he expected more butt licking than we were about to give him.

I doubt we'll see him again.

I doubt it has anything to do with people skills on air... I think it has more to do with having scripts available to you on tv, but not off.

At first I thought perhaps it wasn't actually him ... but rather his publicist posting in an attempt to get the client's name out there ... to promote the new project as well as increase sales of his previous video training program. Once it was clear he had registered on other forums at the same time, with exactly the same intro ... that just further pointed to a publicist's promotion.

But after reading some of what he had posted to members here.... :yikes:
Then thought he should FIRE his publicist for even allowing him to speak without a script. :rofl1:

He wouldn't be the first though. Vastly different field, but handlers of "Dubya" (W.) learned a long time ago that he shouldn't even order a sandwich without a script.

A mystery is why some folks still seem to be going outta their way to "welcome" somebody who basically spammed and scrammed.

Such a huge difference between what he did and what the good trainers here do! Just today in the "General" forum, one of the excellent professional trainers here posted to another member "I'm more than happy to help you" in response to a question regarding choke chains ... to suggest training alternatives instead.

Now THAT is someone who truly wants to help .... rather than offering only "teasers" as veiled sales attempts.

I said "hello" to Joel based on what was written in THIS thread. Members Welcome is located at the top of the forums and that's where I start reading so I had not seen any other posts prior to saying "hi".

^ Same here. I welcomed him with open arms, because I honestly thought he was going to be a polite, contributing member of the forum - I hadn't read any of his other posts either. >-.-<
