Kharma, that is.

The dog is too freaking smart.

She's just gone into heat again, and it throws off her potty schedule. Normally, she doesn't want to even think about getting out of bed in the morning until after I've had a shower and am dressed.

Well, this morning I got out of the shower and she was laying across the front door with her "oh sh1t, I screwed up" face. Not a face I see very often.

After checking and seeing that Tallulah was still in one piece, happily chewing on something she shouldn't have been destroying in the middle of the pillows on the bed, I figured I'd better go see what was up.

A little background . . . the plumbing in my kitchen is still screwed up, so I have all sorts of things laying around, unable to do any cleaning up. Among the assorted chaos are a couple of large, white porcelain Pfaltzgraff bowls I use for dog dishes. White porcelain . . . same kind of material as a toilet.

One of the bowls was about half full . . . . of pee.

Kharma came in and rolled her eyes; she figured she was in trouble.

Did I ever make a fuss over her and pet her and hug her!

But it's kinda scary to think that she's that smart . . . to make the connection, then to squat over the white porcelain bowl . . . And there wasn't a drop on the floor.

LOL. Dogs are smarter than a lot of people give them credit for... or a lot smarter than some people would like to think!

WOw. That is crazy!

If Oz had an accident, and was cognizant enough to figure out he should go in the toilet, wow... I think I'd praise him to high heaven..

That's great !!! Way to go gal ! EliNhunter posted here a few years ago when Hunter went into the tub when he had diarrhea and was chastised by one member ( now gone ) for not being trained ....Lord he'd only been adopted the week before ! I also loved the story of a 911 dog who was alone in the apt for 3 days and went in the shower . Some dogs use their heads !!!!

Oh, if that happens the video will SO be used to show some men that it CAN be done!
LOL!

Hell, I'd just train her to block the bathroom door and not let the man out until he flushes. I GUARANTEE you won't ever find pee left in the bowl, around the rim, or even the toilet seat left up. :D
