| And it's sooooo corny! I literally am rolling my eyes at so many parts and smacking my forehead plenty of times. It's so bad... and it just gets cornier and cornier. So someone explain to me why I can't put it down and am nearly done with it. |

| My younger daughter owns/has read all 4. She has tried to get my older daughter (one year older, they are 16 & 17) to read them. The older one has started and said NOWAY.......too dumb! LOL I haven't even attempted, though I know I will be watching the movie soon.

| I am like that with bodice rippers...they are predictable and corny but fun little reads I can do in about 30mins so I like them fine. I just bought the new Princess Merry book by Hamilton so YAY!

| LOL, because it sucks you in. I read all four in a week. Now I'm trying to sell them all. Horribly immature, really, but it sucks you in and you can't stop reading it.

| I know! I don't get it. I get fed up with how bad it is, put it down, then not ten minutes later I've somehow picked it up again! I do feel a bit better though. When I bought it, there was a college aged guy sitting in one of the corners reading Eclipse in the book store. I'm pretty sure he was doing that so he didn't actually get caught buying it. |

| I think the book would have some potential if Edward went on a mass murdering rampage. THAT would be interesting, lol. I haven't done a **** thing all morning except read it. |

| know the feeling. I hate them... yet love them in a weird sort of way... I think she could have done so much more with the story. Her idea was good... but the execution of the book... not so great. Disclaimer: Anyone who hasn't read it and doesn't want me to ruin it for them then don't read this next part you know how in the book they say that the vampire James is super strong and Laurent is talking about how James can't be destroyed? Well then why is it that they end up destroying James, but the book doesn't go into detail about the fight with James? Wouldn't that be like an important part of the story considering the fact that James is supposed to be really strong and almost indestructible? Also... I think Bella is too super accepting of Edward as a vampire. I wish she had slightly more fear of him... and all of a sudden his family is super accepting of Bella and acts like she's been in their family for years? Kinda strange IMO... they're way too overprotective of Bella IMO and it gives me the impression that Bella is some weak little damsel in distress needing prince charming to jump in to rescue her at every moment... but that's just my opinion.... still... these books totally suck you in and I can't wait to see the movie. Now Anne Rice on the other hand... her vampire chronicles are amazing IMO... not the movies so much, but the books...YES! AWESOME!
