Welcome to the Chazhound Family (Asylum?)

From time to time we enjoy welcoming waves of new members who are long time members from other dog forums, and Chazhound can be a little confusing - even daunting, sometimes.

We're pretty different than other dog forums - there's a lot more freedom to question and even challenge, as long as things don't degenerate into general bitchery and flaming. It can get rough, but I think you'll find that at the end of the brawl, if you've got troubles, often the first person there to help is the one you've been brawling with.

We ARE a tight knit group, very much a family, with all the ups and downs that entails, but you'll find that we're a very easy family to join, eager to embrace new members and will sometimes drag you into the fray sooner than you'd expect . . . or are prepared for

Also get used to the fact that when there's been trouble or any misfortunate event, if details are given, our crew is really good at assimilating them and understanding, even if they don't agree. We'll bat things back and forth and either come to a point where we can see from a different perspective, or agree to disagree.

Conversely, we've got a lot of Terriers, who will dig if they smell something "off" or that there's important information being withheld. And they will find it . . . and they'll bring it up. Honesty really is the best policy, and it won't bite you in the butt later on.

"It was a hard lesson, but I learned from it" is one of the things we aim for when confronted with an ugly situation, and they happen to all of us. No one is immune.

Oh, and no baggage, please . . . Fresh starts daily!

Chazhound is really a different world. About as close to a real Anarchy in the utopian sense as we can make it. We kinda think it's the best of all possible worlds. *winks*

. My friend let me copy her CD. I also enjoy their other songs, such as "I live in a Split Level Head", "I'm glad they took you away haha" and "They're coming to get me again haha".
