 How many of you are artists for a living?? Okay I have to ask how many of you do art for a living because I have seen some amazing work of outstanding quality on here. I feel kinda bad just posting my little sketches, I have no training in art. Simply put you guys are amazing!! I would love to be have as good as you all are! Sincerely, Vanessa and dogs

| I'm not. I'm just a college student as of right now. Yay unemployment!  I do a couple commissions now and then, but that's a new thing. I taught myself except for art class in school. I'd really like to go to an actual art school though to learn more.

Oh, please don't feel bad about posting your work - you do a great job, and we all love to see everyones creations - each has their own individual style and even if you have no training, its so nice to see the talent that you have, and how you progress. I do portaits as a side job, my "real" job is as a desktop publisher (took graphic design in college). Oh how I wish that portaits was my "real" job. Life would be better - LOL!

| Making a living at it isn't easy, no matter how good you are. Doesn't change the fact that if you are an artist you find it darn hard to do anything else, and if you do, your art suffers. YOur little sketches delight my heart so please please post away. I so enjoy the process and seeing others work.
