It's a terrific mix of science and heart, I'm really enjoying it and although I still have about 1/4 of the book left, I highly recommend it!!!!!
i just got this and as soon as i get through these two library books i have, i'll start it.

currently i'm reading lyon's pride by anne mccaffrey, which isn't really that good, and will soon be followed by shadow of the hegemon by orson scott card.

A Feast For Crows by George R.R. Martin

It's the fourth book in his A Song of Ice and Fire saga and hopefully not the last. I haven't finished it yet so we'll see.

I'm also kind of sort of reading The Magic of Recluse by L. E. Modesitt Jr. but it's not all that good of a book really.

GlassOnion - I loved the series, but the last one is so disappointing. Doesn't help that I've been waiting for the next one since March though.

Right now I'm reading 'the blue girl' from Charles de Lint.

I have just finished reading A Room Full of Mirrors ~ A Biography of Jimi Hendrix, and have started Lolita ~ Vladimir Nabokov.

I am addicted to books and can recommend a good book forum www.bookandreader.com .

I am currently reading (for the sake of learning, on my own) Principles of Conformation Analysis by Dr. Deb Bennett -- I am on the second volume and I'm learning to love the way my horses are built.

For fun, I am reading Life of Pi by Yann Martel -- last year I took an Introduction to Literature class in university and for an icebreaker we had to go around the room and state our favorite novel - and a lot of people said theirs was Life of Pi so I saw it on sale when I was doing groceries on the weekend and picked it up.

Right now ''m just finishing re-reading Wolf Fang by Jack London

Tomorrow I leave for my bus trip to Chicago so that means I''ll have a total of 30hrs on a bus and in bus terminals so I have plenty of reading material to keep my occupied. The books I''m taking are :

The Dog Owner''s Manual By Dr David Brunner and Sam Stall
How To Speak Dog By Stanley Coren
Chicken Soup For The Dog Lover''s Soul *a collection of canine stories*
Colby''s Book Of The American Pit Bull Terrier By Louis B Colby
and finishing Illustrated Dog Watching By Desmond Morris

I also got a friend of mine whom I''ll be visiting this trip to order a couple books for me from Amazon. I forget what they are called at the moment but one is on dog behaviour and it is written by a couple who started their dog career dogsledding but then ended up getting involved in introducing livestock guarding breeds into North America. The other one is a Livestock Guarding Dog Breed Book with has 2pages for every Livestock Guarding Breed and it is said to be the best summary of each breed ever composed.

I fresh out of new books so I'm Re-reading "Don't shoot the dog" by Karen Pryor. A timeless classic. I was reading "the clicked retriever" when we were working on the formal retrieve for out trial in November but Sammy got it figured out so I'm off the hook
