Talking Gretzky goes to heaven

Forty or fifty years from now, after living a long and full life, Wayne
Gretzky died peacefully in his sleep one night.

When he got to Heaven, God showed him around. They came to a beautiful
mansion, all decorated in Edmonton Oilers colours. Pennants hung from
all the rafters with Gretzky's scoring titles, and the view was
gorgeous. "This is yours for eternity, Wayne," said God, "This is very
special; not everyone gets a house up here." Gretzky did feel special,
and walked excitedly through his estate. On his way up to the massive
veranda, he noticed another large house in the distance. It was ten
times the size of Wayne's house, with a red sidewalk, a 50 foot tall
flagpole with an enormous Flames flag, a flaming "C" in every window,
and a huge banner of Lanny McDonald in the front entrance.

Wayne looked at God and said, "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but
I have a question. I was basically the best hockey player ever. They
even called me The Great One, and I won countless titles. Not to
nit-pick, but why does Lanny McDonald have a better house than me?"

God chuckled, and replied, "Oh, that's not Lanny McDonald's house --
it's mine!"

Can you tell I'm from Calgary.

Gretzky is not my favourite. or my second fav, or my 100th fav lol. In fact I almost can't stand the sight of that snivelling weasel lol. Lemieux was the better player. If he had stayed healthy all those years he would have been "the great ones" record. Not to mention, gretzky never had to play the REAL game of hockey. he had goons to protect him and refs. No one could check him, or even look at him the wrong way. He was so protected it makes me sick.

lemieux on the other hand, had to battle through hodgkins AND play the real sport. He was a big guy. he had to deal with the checking, the fighting, the SPORT. He didn't have anyone to cover his butt because he was so big he was expected to cover his own butt. The NHL will miss Mario.

Anyway lol GOOD JOKE

HAHAHA I tell it like it is Don't get me wrong. He is talented, was talented (although he isn't the greatest coach or GM) there is no denying that but I do'nt think he is anything special.
