and sketches trying to get the right perspective for packs..what you have to do when you have no photo to go by is keep trying until it looks right and figure out where the muscle and bone should be for the right position

i am so glad you took the time to do your first sketch. I think there is something "extra" translated through the artist that isn't caught with the camera. This is a sketch that shows the love and respect between your two dogs. That was the whole reason i wanted to make my new year's resolution to start sketching again on a regular basis. All those little sketches of Bronki now are all that i have left..they mean more to me then all the photos because i spent time studying him..and learning his physical language as well as his appearence if that makes any sense. So much is missed otherwise. I can close my eyes and see the lines of his smile, the sworls in the hair on his chest for i drew them so many times. Shading is not hard..if you want i can pm you with some tips of the trade..
YOur monkey is just precious. The sketch lines expressive more then you know!!!!! Hyia my grandaughter wanted me to tell you how much she loved seeing your monkey and she spent time here trying to draw some of her own! I worked at the kansas city zoo for awhile where i cared for two marmoset monkeys..they were very tiny. We were told never to look them in the eye so i would look up they would look at me and i would have to look down. It was so frustrating for their faces were so human (like wise little old men) and i wanted to study them., but i also wanted to be friends too so down i kept my eyes. You have done fabulous work i think and enjoyed seeing very much.

YEA YEA, can u teach me how to shade. i never draw for long after secondary sch. i bought the drawing pad the other day and some water color, but i dont know how to color, so i just shade.
or u can even take my drawing shade then teach me. i like art but i think need lots of practise. i found jojo more easy to draw then russell. can u teach me . thanks.

i will gladly send some tips to you ..unless others want me to post them on here..either way! Be happy to. I know so much about some things and it is knowledge just rolling around in my head that no one seems to want at home. My children don't want to draw and have no interest..someone should benefit from those years in classes besides me!
