Default Considering adopting one of these puppies, but..
A friend of mine found these puppies abandoned in her yard. I am considering giving one of them a home, but I would like to know what breed(s) they are, so that I can better decide if they are a good fit for my family. Can anyone give any input on breed based on these pictures? Thanks!

I couldn't figure out how to load a pic without hosting it externally, so I have just included the link to the photo album I created here. I hope it works.

Edit to add: they are believed to be around 10-12 weeks old, and one of the two has a non-functioning, malformed front leg.

Some kind of hound, American bulldog maybe. It's really hard to tell with pups.

Do you know how much they weigh? Also, a side shot would help, preferably standing. I agree that they're pretty young to know for sure, though.

my wild guess would be some kind of hound mixed with pit or am bulldog.

They look hound-ish to me, too. If you're interested, I say take the one with the malformed front leg - he'd have a harder time finding a home. Plus, who doesn't love freckled ears?
