Default I love craigslist!!
We just got a brandnew Eddie Bauer infant car seat with 2 bases for $35

The grandparents bought it for their car, and ordered an extra base for the parents' car for the conveniency, but the parents already got another infant car seat, which they like better, so they don't need this one .

Similar carseats are being sold at $95 - $120 in the stores . I'm just so incredibly happy

I love craigslist too--if you have the time to search it, you can almost always find good deals!

Surprisingly yes. They're usually good for about 6 years (the one we just got expires in 2015). There should either be a sticker on the bottom of it or it'll be engraved into the plastic. If you don't see it when you turn it over try adjusting the cover a bit, I've heard they like to hide them under them sometimes.
