Default I'll admit it, I'm a Craigslist flagger...here's a gem...

I routinely scan the pet section of Craigslist and I probably shouldn't because I usually end up flagging a lot of posts .

Here's one that just got my blood boiling more than usual...I mean COME ON

Quote:
Boxer Mix puppies Fawn, Brindle, Dark Fawn and White to good home.

Please come by and visit with the little guys, they love kids.

These little guys are specially trained to watch over military spouse while active duty deployed.

808-***-**** Please leave message during duty hours.
Bolding mine. GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!! There happens to be a LOT of military on Oahu, it just really p*sses me off that these stupid people are playing a deployment card for their careless and ignorant breeding. Do they think people are stupid?

The sad thing is, no amount of conversation will convince them that they've just created more dogs (something this little island REALLY doesn't need) that may be cute but have NO special ANYTHING about them. I hope they can find homes...based on the pic there are at least 7 puppies.

Here's a link, please flag if you can: Boxer Mix Puppies

They're such pretty pups. As for the owners, are you serious??? "These little guys are specially trained to watch over military spouse while active duty deployed." What a load of BS.

How do you know it's BS? Half the people here think their lap dog will protect them. It's ok here but someone else thinking their dogs will protect are wrong?

I've seen one on CL that said accidental litter both the mother dog and father dog are here. I sent them an email saying I guess you accidentally forgot to spay and neuter the dogs also due to a brain fart. Accidentally asking $150 fee and the pups were not even to the vet yet.

I know my dog wont protect me from anyone. Someone can break in and she would be wagging her tail wanting the person to pet her. She does not even alert bark when someone is at the door.

Partial list of items for sale and services the advertisement of which is not permitted on craigslist:

Household pets of any kind including but not limited to dogs, cats, primates, cage birds, rodents, reptiles, amphibians, fish. Re-homing with small adoption fee OK
Also if you go onto CL in the pets section under community it says:
Quote:
No pet sales or breeding please--rehoming with small adoption fee OK

Many people here insist that their dogs will protect them. Misguided as that may be, it is accepted by the other members because they are in the Chaz club. Someone unknown thinks the same thing about their pups, tries to use it as a selling point, misguided as it may be, and they are torn a new one. A little bit of a double standard.

You didn't get your dog because someone told you she's a good protector, so you'd have no reason to expect that from her.

As far as the CL "rehoming fee", that's just a PC phrase for "here's what I'm charging".
