Default Innova Evo Changes

So I maybe I just have had my head stuck under a rock but I just saw that Evo changed their formula's, and added new foods and treats. I don't know when they did it though

They're using peas instead of potatoes for the binder/carbs in the cat food and they've added a Salmon and Herring food.

EVO Premium Dog Food, Natural Cat Food, Healthy Dog Treats – Natura Pet Products

Here's a better idea of what they changed in case anyone would like to know

Quote:
Our EVO Regular Adult formula is now called EVO Turkey and Chicken formula and it still comes in the small or large bites. Garlic has been removed, and the feeding guidelines on the back of the bag have been updated.

EVO Reduced Fat is now being called EVO Weight management. This formula has been enhanced to include 125% of the minimum requirements for vitamins and minerals. It is suitable for active weight loss at a 20% caloric restriction. Pea Fiber has been added for gastrointestinal health and as an additional prebiotic source. L-Carnitine has been added to aid in fat metabolism. Garlic has been removed. The maximum carbohydrate guarantee has changed from 9% to 11%, which the content was allowed to be increased due to the lower glycemic index of peas versus potatoes. Also the Calorie content has been updated from a calculated amount of 440 calories per cup to a feeding amount of 458 calories per cup.

Our EVO Red Meat is now going to be called EVO Red Meat Formula and it will still come in either a small or large kibble size. We have updated the feeding guidelines, and the calorie content has been updated from a calculated amount of 487 calories per cup now to 527 calories per cup. Also beef cartilage and garlic have been removed.

The EVO Cat and Kitten formula is now going to be called EVO Turkey and Chicken Formula. Peas have been added for their nutritional content and low glycemic index and have replaced the potatoes in the formula. Pea fiber has been added for gastrointestinal health and as an additional prebiotic source. The feeding guidelines have been updated and the calorie content has been updated from 612 calories per cup to 602 calories per cup.

For the EVO Ferret Formula, peas have been added for their nutritional content and low glycemic index and have replaced the potatoes in the formula. Pea fiber has been added for gastrointestinal health and as an additional prebiotic source. The feeding guidelines have been updated and the calorie content has been updated from 542 calories per cup to 549 calories per cup.

Our new products include EVO Herring and Salmon Formula for both cats and dogs. Natura now has made an EVO Weight Management formula for cats. Also, coming soon, EVO is launching some new treats. They will be called Wild Cravings, and the flavors include a Turkey and Chicken Formula for dogs and cats, Red Meat Formula, and a Herring Formula for canine and feline companions. We now also offer Weight Management treats for both cats and dogs.

I saw the new fish evo, last week when I was getting Bruno his bag of red meat evo. I decided Id rather wait to see what others think of it. So I just stuck with the Rm. I did get samples of it though, and haven't given them to him yet.

The herring formula is super new as far as I know. I only heard about it through our local specialty shop's monthly newsletter and they'd said it wasn't even on Evo's website yet!

I don't know why they took the garlic out. Could be because some people will not feed anything with garlic in it but I honestly don't know

The Herring Formula looks pretty good to me! I'm excited about the new foods
