| It baffles me that anyone would forgive this man, or think that there is an OBLIGATION to forgive him simply because he's been to jail. But wait, he plays football well . . . I forgot that if you're talented, it doesn't matter who you hurt. That whole Roman Polanski syndrome. |

| Warning--this might get a bit religious so if you are bothered by such things don't read the post.... This is actually something I struggle as a dog lover, pibble owner, and Christian. I know that at some point I need to forgive him. Not because he deserves it or that he has paid his debt, but because I feel like harboring such anger at someone who doesn't even know I exist and cannot do anything (in my mind) to "make up" for the suffering he caused is unhealthy for mind, body, and soul. However, I just don't know if I have it in me at this point. When I hear his name mentioned in any context I just have this visceral reaction--my blood absolutely boils.

| at this point, i actually have less trouble with michael vick the man himself than i do with all the michael vick apologists. the sports fans, the h$u$, etc. between the "aww poor mikey didn't know better" people and the "why should one mistake destroy his whole future people" and the "they're just dogs" people or "he learned his lesson and now mike vick is good for pit bulls" people. what michael vick did is so far beyond just dog fighting, and that seems to get missed. it's one thing to match dogs for "sport". it's another thing entirely to hook dogs up to jumper cables, chuck 'em in a swimming pool, and turn on the juice.

| For me, he will never be forgiven. Ever.
