Default Hey -- from Maryland!

Hello!! I came across this forum I own a 1 year old Yorkie named Jackson, who is a "big" boy for his breed at 12.5lbs. I've heard some people tell me he's a Silky Terrier, but I could care less. He's a great dog. He's so smart and well behaved (most of the time ) and I seriously couldn't have asked for a better dog. I belong to a Yorkie forum but I love and appreciate ALL dogs so I found this forum. Looking forward to chatting with you all.

Hi and welcome! I actually was playing with a 9 week old Yorkie (who is already the size of a full-grown yorkie, so she's going to be massive) at a party last night. She was cute.

Thanks! Yup, he's my Aussie.

Yorkies always make me laugh...there's the overly small ones that half the country has and the other half divides between the giant ones and the semi-standard size.

Welcome to chaz! I groom so big yorkies too! one i do is every bit of 15lbs. and I also see 3lb yorkies. some have floppy ears and more of a curly coat, but they are still purebred.

I have a big sheltie. They are suppose to be around 25lbs and 16 inches max. Ruckus is 20 inches and around 40lbs (very heavy bone structure) but he is pure bred too

all dogs are dif. even within their breed.
