Default Hello from Delaware

My dogs name is Powder. She is an 8 yr old German Shepherd. She is very cuddly and loves to protect me. Recently Powder was diagnosed with breast cancer. She needs surgery to remove the tumor. I have created her a facebook in hopes of raising enough money so she can get the surgery she desperatly needs. All donations are appreciated. Thank you so much!

Hi Powder. Sorry your dog is sick. Doesn't ever seem fair, does it?

As to the fund raising, you're not likely to get a big response from the membership here. When your first post is a request for donations, the group will tend to be skeptical.

I hope you stick around and get to know us and I hope you're able to find a way to get your Powder the surgery she needs.

1. Look around your house for things to sell, electronics seem to garner the most money but anything really works... post on ebay or craigslist.

2. Look for temporary jobs on craigslist or in or local paper, many times you can find something for weekends, part time, or just a few days.

3. Look into care credit, a credit card for just these kinds of emergencies.

Good Luck, I hope you are able to get the needed funds.

I second carecredit!! (CareCredit Healthcare Finance - Payment Plans and Financing for Cosmetic Surgery, Dental, Vision, Hearing, Veterinary & Other Medical Procedures) they were a LIFESAVER for my coonhound's bills when she was hit by a car in Jan - 2 e-vets in a weekend is not cheap! Good luck!!
