Eye Licking

Jabroni has been constantly licking Hank's eyes. Do you think it may be because Hank might have a problem with his eyes or do some dogs just over-do the face licking thing?

My guy's do it But not really often. Did you check to see if there's something in there?

I took a look yesterday evening, but I was not able to see anything.

If the eye doesnt look red or irritated and Hank doesnt act like it bothers him. You just have a chronic eye washer.

We have had them here before too, I love them! Gbew was a non stop ear, eye, face washer of every dog in the house! Made it wonderful with the Pugs, she kept everyone clean all the time and we didnt have as much daily cleaning to do, lol.
I miss her, I dont have any face washers here right now

They're right. If you see nothing wrong with your doggie's eye then there's nothing to worry about. Maybe Jabroni just love to lick him clean or maybe he's just too sweet or maybe both.

Armani does it to every dog he meets, seriously.... he will do it at the dog park even, I dont think everyone appreciates it, LOL... I dont think it is an issue... he will sit and do it to our dogs for an extended period of time.

My two are face cleaners. They will sit and lick each other's faces for long periods of time. They take turns cleaning out each others' eyes and if I don't watch out they will try to clean MY eyes lol. Summer also does this to dogs she has newly befriended. Since she's reactive it's interesting to me because on the first couple meetings she will growl at other dogs then when she accepts them she will almost always immediately clean their face.
