I see multiple counts of animal cruelty and neglect if they can't find proof of fighting. |

| I'm just in tears reading this. Poor dogs. Whether there was dog-fighting or not, there was definitely callous cruelty and neglect. I hope the owner gets thrown in jail. |

| This is discusting. I have no clue how someone could bring themselves to do this to any animal. Sickening.

| Honestly... All the dogs looked reasonably well fed. One thin puppy (not emaciated, thin) and the rest didn't look underweight. In fact the other pups look plump, and some of the dogs looked overweight. I don't care that there aren't any food bowls. I haven't used my dog's food bowl in months, that doesn't mean I don't feed him. Those dogs are obviously getting fed. If they were thin it was probably because of worms. I have never seen a dog that gave a rip about dirty water. When you have 100 pit bulls there will be yard fights. He was obviously neglectful so it stands to reason there would be a lot of yard fights. Just because the man is a dog neglector doesn't mean he's a dog abuser or dog fighter. They didn't say anything about infections or anything like that. With that quantity of dogs and presumably a large number of puppies, one dead puppy is not criminal. Likewise, one skull isn't a big deal. The man is slobbish in the way he takes care of his animals, so it makes sense that he wouldn't dispose of a deceased dog properly. That doesn't mean that the dog was starved to death, beaten to death, ripped to pieces or anything like that. With a 100-dog breeding operation (I assume he sells them too) that is a lot of dogs passing through his place, the remains of one dog isn't really astounding. Again, he is slobbish. If there were large numbers of dogs dying at his place I would expect to see large numbers of corpses. Maybe there is more that they just aren't showing, but it seems to me like a lot of sensationalistic crap. I wish the media would say it like it was... which is, he treated them like livestock. The worst part about that whole thing, as far as I've seen, is that those dogs must've been BORED OUT OF THEIR MINDS. Now they've rescued them, scared them, cleaned them up, etc. And who wants to guess how many will find new homes and how many will be killed either because a) they have no space for the dogs or b) the dogs act like pit bulls? Does saying the dogs were used for fighting makes their fate even less certain? What's great is that man won't be dumping out more pit bull puppies. Those poor dogs are in an awful predicament no matter what way you look at it. I hope they don't end up killing a bunch of them.

| I wouldn't be surprised if a good majority is put to sleep if the dogs are taken away. Either way it goes, they are screwed.
