I will get 30 day pics, so that will be 2 days into phase 2.

Yoga X tonight. Last real "work" day of the rest week. Tomorrow is another stretch day. Then Saturday kicks off Phase 2.

I'm sore all over I've been working hard.. and it just goes up.. Can't tell if I'm eating too many calories.. Too much protein powder.. Too many variables..

so you get "days off" from the hard exercises? Do you get days off from the diet? Justin said the diet didn't look too bad 'cause it lets him eat pasta. lol.

Can't wait to see some of your "after" pics

MP - how do you feel though? Muscle weighs more than fat! Don't be discouraged.

I feel good. I feel chubby as hell since the scale has gone back to climbing. I'm good sore. But I am feeling discouraged. I was at 158 for weeks.. and now I'm going back in that direction..

wc - the way it works is in 3 phases.

Phase 1
day 1 - 6 exercise according to the chart on the particular version you're doing (classic, doubles or lean). The exercise routines are generally varied - one day may be all cardio, another is heavy with weights, another day is all core work, another is yoga, etc. Day 7 is a "rest or stretch x" day. There is a specific stretching video called "Stretch X" which is an hour long. Weeks 1 - 3 are the same. Week 4 is all cardio/stretch/yoga/core stuff. No weight work. It's billed as a "recovery week" before Phase 2 begins.

Phase 2
Much like phase 1, you do a different routine every day of the week with day 7 being a rest/stretch day. The fourth week of phase 2 (week 8 of the program) is another recovery week.

Phase 3
Similar to phase 1 and 2, you have a routine to follow every day. However, Weeks 9 and 11 are the same and weeks 10 and 12 are the same. Note that in Phase 3, there are four hard exercise weeks. Week 13 becomes your recovery week.

You don't ever take "off" from the diet. You should always be eating sensibly. During this week, though, I let up on the added proteins a bit. Just my preference. Figured it would help to burn some of the extra fat weight if I wasn't taking in the extra calories. I still ate heavily on the lean proteins, but I didn't add as much extra protein via the shakes.

When I add it up, 13 weeks at 7 days per week is 91 days, so they should call it P91X, I suppose

FWIW, when I started this, I dropped 6 pounds like a shot. The scale stayed there for a few days, went down a couple of pounds then back up a few. I was 252 for about a week and a half during the first phase. I'm down to 246.8 as of this morning.

Keep at it and don't get discouraged! Bring it!

Thanks for the info eddie, makes sense What are you supposed to do after the 91 days? Just regular work out routine and sensible diet? I s'pose if you're all ripped after that, then you may want to keep it that way, eh?

They suggest if you are hardcore if you did the lean program then redo it as the classic.. and then again with doubles..

Thanks Eddie. When I hit 154 the other day I was feeling high about... 156 yesterday was a downer. 157.5 today bigger downer..

BUT.. It seems my size 32" jeans fit again. They are tight, but wearable.. and I don't think they've fit in two Mays.. So Bring It.. There are changes I just don't really see them.. But fitting into my jeans is motivating.. And 3-4 weeks ago they didn't fit, as I tried to put them on..
