Maybe it was because I wasn't able to do most of the workouts on the Core Synergistics but I don't hurt as much as I was expecting to. Though whole body kinda aches and it hurts to bend over or laugh. LOL. Maybe because I'm taking Naproxen twice a day as it is for my knee?

Have to do Cardio X in a bit... hopefully it works out better than last night...

MP, congrats on the weight loss!

I'm on a different program, but with you guys on the soreness. Blah.

Also, what type of protein shakes are you guys drinking? I really need to get more protein into my diet.

I use Precision Engineered Whey Protein in Creamy Vanilla flavor. It's 18 grams of protein in a serving (one scoop) and 100 calories. 2 grams of carbs, 2 grams of fat. It's pretty good and you can add other flavoring with it.

how important is it to pay the money for the dvds and stuff? Justin looked at it and he seems to think he can do the muscle confusion thing on his own just by doing different exercises. Is it worth it to pay the money and follow the actual course that they recommend? What all do you get with it?

You get the DVD's, the workout guides and the nutrition guide. I've seem some kits that also include a resistance band. I bought my own.

Personally, I've found it worth it. I always thought I could exercise on my own but I have trouble keeping my motivation/intensity up when I'm doing it on my own. With the videos, I constantly have a virtual trainer doing it along side and keeping the motivation up.

You can certainly find it cheaper on ebay or craigslist and I'm sure you can find torrents of the DVDs if you looked. You'd have to either buy or download the exercise guide if you got dvd's without the guides.

Arms and shoulders tonight while feeling blah. Did better this time (second time doing it now) only had to opt out on one exercise. Did more reps. Felt it this time.

Threw frozen raspberries in the blender with my protein powder and water and it was actually decent for once.

I have CardioX, Shoulders & Arms, Ab RipperX, and Yoga X to do today. LOL.
Took some stuff this morning to keep headache away.

I need to go get new foods as I have no more protein foods at the house... wahh...

Congratz Q! Are you gonna post your "after 28 days" pic?

I have Yoga X today...I'm pretty stiff and sore (mostly my legs now though) so we'll see how well that goes.

I did better on the Ab Ripper yesterday than I did on Monday, it seemed a bit easier and didn't make me go "OMG why am I doing this?!" the only thing that got to me is one of the exercises makes my hip pop every time and it's uncomfortable.
The neat thing is, I pop in places I've never popped before, yeah take a big stretch and feel a sternum pop...weird.
