LOL Dekka is an easy dog... I get so many ppl who want a JRT just like her very laid back and quiet.. (but they don't come like that for the most part)

I would say I have learned a bit about chis. I still don't think I would want one, but I would can see the appeal more now. Most other breeds I don't think I have changed my opinion on.

Not really, no. My own real life experiences with particular breeds have shaped what I like and what I don't like in a dog more than anything. That said, I am very, very fond of Papillons thanks to Laurelin and her crew, haha. I've never seriously thought of owning one for myself as I just don't want a small dog, but I love them nonetheless. And Cleo made me look into Leonbergers and encouraged me to talk to Leo owners/breeders at a couple of recent shows. I love the breed, but again, they're not a breed I can see myself owning realistically.

I've also learned a bit more about Border Collies since joining Chaz. I used to think I wanted one, but honestly, after reading about them more and meeting a few in person I'm afraid to ever have a Border Collie for myself. I still really like them, and I wish I was the right person for one, but I don't think I am.

Aside from those three, I don't feel Chaz has really influenced my thoughts on breeds that much.

Oh boy, well first, I have learned that not all Chihuahua's were cowering, yippy, bitey and all that nasty stuff. I think that if I get a toy breed, which I probably won't, I would try and get a Pappillon.

It has definitely changed my mind about Pit Bulls, I never thought they were evil and man slaughterers, but now I know that they can be sweet and nice, and that they are dog aggressive mostly because they were bred long ago to attack dogs. At least, that is the impression I have gotten.

Never actually seen a good picture of a fila, or knew much about time. And I never realized

Chaz taught me a lot about different breeds of dog, but I'll forever be a mutt-lover.

Border Collies were my favorite breed before I joined Chaz, and that hasn't changed though I've learned even more about BCs, too.
I've always loved bully breeds but I consider myself more knowledgable about BSL, etc., thanks to Chaz.
I love paps now, and have more interest and respect for the breed than I ever did before. Who can I thank for that? Summer, Beau, Mia, Nard and Rose of course. Oh, and Laur.

Yes!!!! Chaz had opened me up to so many breeds, especially papillions and Filas. I plan to own a pap one day, and also consider chows, border collies, shar peis, etc, etc.

Thanks so much Chaz!

Not to much. I already was a dog crazy nut and knew of majority of breeds. But I have learned way more about breeds that I knew of, but didnt know much about.

What I learned that is more importent. is health care, grooming, dog food, excersise, AGILITY lol.

Before I was the dog owner who adored their dog. but didnt really do much for them.
-Blaze was free fed all the ol' roy he wanted and at one point was 74 lbs (a dog who should be 58-60lbs) now he is 59-60lbs, now he is fed raw.
-He was lucky to get a 15min walk a day, becuase the massive pulling and zig zagging bothered me, not to mention wanting to kill every dog around, now he gets good solid any where from 5-15km bike rides a day (and dog parks, play dates, swimming ect)
-Blaze wasnt trained to do much more then sit and shut up lol. now he is actually a dog I can take in to public. ask to do somthing, and it will get done. And I can now walk him with out any trouble lol.
-I always admired people who did dog sprots, but never thought to much of it. Now we are training in agility.
-Had no idea petstores who sold dogs were bad, which is why Blaze is from one. Now I know way better then that. wondered what the big deal as to why dogs were so expensive to buy. now I know.

The knowledge I learned about caring for a dog is priceless. and makes Blazes (and any other dog I will ever get) much better
