Default Victor and the art market

. He trick or treated today for the humane society and took in 55 dollars. He says he belongs to a union membership one and it says that he does not have to carry his bucket more than 30 minutes. No amount of bribery would get him to do it again. But 55 dollars is nothing to sneeze at and he raised it in one pass down the city block. Some people remembered him from the paper. He received one 10 and 4 5's. THe rest were ones. had my letter from the HS for verify us as well as his newspaper clipping. WE usually do the Plaza art fair but this time i was involved in a smaller sale and could not get away.

Not only that but a minpin from the booth next to us jumped on Victor's face literally growling and snarling. VIctor growled so angry that i stuck my hand in where i never in a situation like this and wrapped it around his muzzle while the owner retrieved her loose dog. AFter that Victor sat in my lap for awhile because he had great concerns the little shi1t was going to come through that flap again. So he gained points for not snapping it in half like it deserved. Bees were a problem because of of our tent people had a sugar drink and empty cans so he would want to snap at that and of course that couldn't happen either. A very stressful day for both of us.

Sorry about your stressful day. Glad Victor didn't break the little brat, though!

I keep Victor on a very short leash at these things. He has a pillow under the table that is not anywhere near access to the passing public. I got some great shots of him asleep with his head on the lower rung of that table. That dog came through the side wall space. If i hadn't been right there with him in between my feet it could have ended up differently. HIs ears were slobbered on but i found no punctures. People looked at Victor because he growled. Well what was he suppose to do? Sheeeesh.

Everyone else was great to him. Lots of petting..lots of loving. HE was smitten with two ladies and one baby was lowered to pet his ears. He's really a dream of a dog in public. He is even modest about his tree. I take him across the street to a parking lot..to a tree out of view and he went a lot...then we returned and it was no issue for the rest of the day.

People bring these little dogs to public and it just astounds me. You know a big dog would have never gotten away with such a scene. But because it weighs like 10 pounds that's suppose to make it ok. IF VIctor wasn't a pets for life dog there is no way i would have him in such a situation.
