I have one that I used to use on Bubba.

For whatever reason, Bailey didn't blow his coat very well, so he would have to get shaved every summer. But, there's a point where it's still to cold to shave and way to hot for a collie's undercoat.

It was scary how much hair came off him!!!! but I loved it, and it helped him A LOT.

Default love my furminator

I love love love my furminator...for my bcs. I would never dream of using it on the PON. I've found that it only works when they're blowing coat and I've never managed to damage the top coat.

I use my furminator a few times a year when Pit blows his coat. I have to be veeeeeery careful as his top coat is pretty long and breaks pretty bad if I use it too much. Zero's coat is out of the question, there's not way I could touch him with that comb.

I made the mistake last summer of furminating the cat too much. His sides were pretty bad for a while.

You can over use them, my daughter did and her dog got a horrible skin infection. It can cause harm to the skin if used too often and harshly. It is a sensative tool to be used lightly to get the especially double undercoats on dogs. I would be extra careful until your totally familar with using it and how often your dog can take it. they are wonderful, but can be harmful.

I love my Furnminator but only use it once a week on Reno. His coat is pretty short and kind of course so it works fine. Mine was $50 though for the medium!! UGH

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Furminator solution. It makes his coat shine so much. I just washed him last night with the Furminator Shampoo and the Solution and man does he shine! It is great.

Oh that spray on stuff smells wonderful indeed!

I've used the Furminator on Lacey and Jasper like twice since we got it, it works good and she's blowing coat, but prefers the sticky kind of brush anywhere but on her butt where the hair is really thick.

I did not get the spray stuff but the shampoo and solution smell good. I will try the spray stuff. I use those spray/waterless shampoos when I take Reno to the dog park. Before we get in the car I spray him, wipe him down with a paper towel or reg towel then wipe him with those pet wipes. YES I am obsessive. LOL, the other dog park ppl give me strange looks if they happen to see me doing all this. BUT he looks like he wasn't even at the dog park before he gets in the car. AND man you should see how brown those towels and wipes are!

Oh I'm so scared to use a Ferminator on Kyrie! I want to try it though! I've brushed out a pile from Kyrie bigger than Regis with just a normal brush!!

I have a picture some where, haha, Regis was very scared of the huge pile of hair!
