See, there are some days where I am like "omg my nails should be painted"...and I do a fabulous job (my french manicure looked better that the manicurist!)
....
Then there are days where I am like "omg, wouldn't it be fun to paint my nails?"
usually with a dark color (today it was dark blue)...
On days like this I usually do one or more of the following:
1. Spill nailpolish on my surroundings
2. spill nailpolish on my hands
3. get nailpolish under my nails
4. get nail polish in my cuticles.
5. smudge them(from not letting them dry)

All of these happened to me tonight.

Maybe its just not meant to be. I can't even get all the friggin nail polish off (from my cuticles and under nails)



So...
I'm still going to attempt to do a "french manicure"...(the white is going to be in blue though)..

Let's hope it works...after this, no more nail doing!

Good luck !! Once dry a nail brush should clean up the cuticle .

They dry quicker if you stick your hands in a bowl of ice cold water; don't let your fingernails touch any of the ice though.

I am with you! I hate having my nails done, I always make such a mess of them. But I love the look of done nails. My toenails keep polish nicely but my fingers are such a pain! I wish I could have nicely done nails.

My nails are my one vice. Some have called me vein for it. But I love acrylic nails. I just got them done last week. (French tips).

Does your hands shake when your doing them? Perhaps anchor your elbow on a pillow or something if they do. It'll give you a little more control. And get one of those dryers so you won't smudge.
