| ... all the good men are either taken or gay? I just groomed a Shiba for a friend of mine. He is an AMAZING guy. We like alot of the same things, and the things we dont like we respect but can still bug eachother about them. He's a dog person too. The catch? He's 10yrs older than me and kinda ugly. Im not being superficial. But there has to be some amount of phisical atraction there. Im looking for a nice guy, who likes dogs, has a car, has a career, acepts Katelynne, doesnt have to be incredably good looking but there needs to be some sort of atraction. IS THAT TO MUCH TO ASK?

| A good man is always hard to find... I married a guy who is 11 years older than me, so the age thing doesn't seem like a big deal to me ![]() And, if you are attracted to the person inside, often the outside will start to look better and better. I'm not kidding. I think Eric is way more attractive now than when I first met him and he hasn't changed physically at all. I fell in love with him and he just gets better and better looking

| For the same reason that all the good girls who like sports, dogs, etc and don't cheat, play games, mind you hanging out with friends, etc. are taken. Unfortunately, I can't tell you what that reason is. Wish I knew it myself. I'd imagine economics has something to do with it. Way too much demand, too little supply.

| Veeeery true. I definitely found my husband cuter and cuter the more I fell for him.

| the easiest way to find a large supply of single hetero males is to find the nearest military base. unfortunately they are going to primarily under the age of 25 and so will be thinking w/ the wrong head (for a while yet). |

So, my thought on the age part...I'm nobody to talk. Hubby's 33, I'm 24. I didn't find him particularly attractive when I first met him, in fact my friend was trying to date him and she asked if I was interested and I said "Hell no!" - he wouldn't date her and was persistent and never went away, lol. Just my thought on it, but if you find someone who's not perfect it's one thing, but I wouldn't hold it all up to aesthetics, though I do understand what you mean.
