Two, I'm not sure how that is physically possible . .. either the mating, or that many puppies out of a Chi mother with a pit father.
Supposedly, the mother is the pit

we had some genius petstore people breeding "mini rottweilers" - min pins for the black and tan... pug? for the broader/rounder heads. some kind of mix like that. they didn't look anything like rottweilers, but they sold for $900.

I am really really stupid. I sat here for 5 minutes wracking my brain trying to figure out how artificial intelligence played into this at all. *facepalm*

In other news, I totally agree. I just hope they find good homes. I suppose they *could* be cute dogs...maybe a hardier Chi type? I'm a sucker for any pup though. I wonder what will happen to the poor luvs?

I don't even really know what to say about that. I don't see the point.

Considering there is no breed of dog called "American Pit", I'm sure the mother is some run-of-the-mill crappily bred mutt that the owner's go because it sounds cool to say you own a "Pit". Hell, I've got 2 pits myself....one under each arm.

I'd euth that litter so fast people wouldn't even have the chance to get their money out their pockets.

Sadly, I bet they'll sell because they are "only" $150 and cute, and then they'll probably go right back and breed another litter
