I think its just the way of the times. Everyone wants a small dog with a big attitude. What better breeds to mix?

You could end up with a small dog with suicidal tendencies. Literally. Imagine a DA Chi belonging to someone irresponsible or ignorant enough to BUY one of those puppies.

Purebred chihuahuas ARE small dogs with big attitudes, aren't they?

And.. chihuahuas can be pretty nippy, right? But if one of those dogs bite, I bet they'll blame it on their pitbull side.

That is true. But I just cant imagine why anyone would mix a chi with a pit. From what I have seen

chis are pretty independent, and can be nippy.

pits are living family dogs, who should not be biting humans.

so worst case scenario, you end up with a dog that ALWAYS wants to be near you and ALWAYS wants to bite you. Not safe imo

I don't see how either. Even with two poorly bred ones it doesent sound possible. I could see someone trying to pull off breeding a Frenchie or Boston Terrier to a Chi and saying it was part pit.

One, I hope that was an accident

Two, I'm not sure how that is physically possible . .. either the mating, or that many puppies out of a Chi mother with a pit father.
