I hate men

Well... some times I hate men.

All my male friends (including my boyfriend) are doing what they call a "Man Hike". Females are welcome on this voyage of manpower, but the last time they let females come they were slowed down. What took the guys that split off from the girls three hours took the guys that stayed with the girls 8 hours to do. I never went on the previous man hikes, as I did not know these MANLY MEN at the time. These rough, tough, burly beasts.

I have been invited to join them on this quest of theirs to prove their primitive instinct is still intact. However, they're all looking at me like there is no way I could possibly keep up. Like I am going to faint at the very thought of this excursion. To them it's a jaunt, a jig. To me a vast steep incline in which my legs will turn to mush and I will plummet back down to the start... which wouldn't be very far because I am a female, incapable of keeping up with such audacious beefcakes.

So now I am determined to not only keep up with these arrogant city slickers but also storm my way up and beat them to our destination. Possibly a bit unrealistic seeing as I am 5'2 and these boys are all 6' and over. But I will! Wish me luck. I'm going to have to push myself even harder than I usually do. I will get fit or die trying.

Oh not at all! I'm well aware I can keep up easily. What's bugging me is they keep saying I won't be able to. because I am female.

My original post was pure sarcasim. If I thought I was going to be the weight holding every down I wouldn't even bother hindering the fellas on their man business. We're all just a bunch of teasing, joksters. Still, one more sexist comment and those lads are not going to have sex parts.

What's bugging me is they keep saying I won't be able to. because I am female.

Well, in their past experience the females did slow them down, which may be annoying.

Now, unless the males that accompanied the females were stopped for a different sort of hike, I can see them not wanting to do that over again. 5 hours is a big difference! That's a lot of fishing/beer time wasted.
