Welcome Sis!!

I found this Calorie Need - Nutrition Guide for Women. I think by counting calories... it's kinda like doing Weight Watchers were you're still dieting, you just have to limit how much food you're getting.

I switched to diet pepsi in the fall.. and have stuck to it. Sadly it isn't giving me the extra boost of less calorie help I thought it would.

I don't have enough to lose to really play.. but I'm trying. My goal of 10 pounds out of 20 or so I'd like to loose seems a bigger gap as I can't seem to loose as fast as many of my larger friends :/

But hopefully you can all help me stay motivated and play with you

Merico, that nutritional guide thing is very cool. I'd like to join as well, though at this point I just want to maintain and tone. I've been losing, little by little, since i quickly gained like 15 lbs after getting married >.< So now maintenence is needed!

I'll join in.

May I suggest the Wii? If you don't have one possibly try to borrow one.
I have been playing the Boxing part on the Wii Sports every night for at least 30 minutes for the last 8 days and OMG its awesome. I can feel the muscle building up in my arms and I can see the change in my sides, arms, and upper body.
Tennis is also amazing, it really works your legs if you move around alot.

I'll suggest that you stay off of Gem's food threads

Awesome ideas...maybe I can join the ranks when they get my medication straight...as it is dieting does no good without exercise, and exercise = horrendous amounts of pain and stiffness...but soon, soon I will have what I need and be back to being active instead of crippled, lol.
