I found an add for the sweetest lab/dalmatian mix. My parents are a little concerned about the dalmatian part as they can be quite high strung (am I correct?). But I don't know, I'm not that good with breeds but is she really a dalmatian cross? The colouring reminds me of a aussie. Honestly if all works out we might get her.

I have no idea where they got dalmatian from. I'm guessing it's because of the 'spots' but those aren't spots at all, it's merle. Since neither labs or dals come in merle, I'm guessing it's not a lab/dal mix.

I think I can see some lab in the shape of the head but I knew it wasn't dalmatian! Well that might put my dads heart at rest a little. :P The breed doesn't matter soo much too me so long as she is good-natured but it means the world to my parents. Thank you.

Definitely not a lot of Dalmatian, if any, in that puppy. I see Aussie. Lots of Aussie.

I see lots of australian shepherd, but really no dalmation. I agree, those aren't dalmation spots, they're merle patterns.

She looks like a lot of Australian Shepherd/Lab mixes I've seen. I don't see any Dalmatian in the slightest.

Looks like an Aussie mix to me!!
Aussies are high-energy and can be difficult puppies because they are so smart. Just be forewarned! They will make it all worthwhile in the end, but they're usually referred to as "Hell-spawn" for the first few months of their life.

Well my Dad doesn't believe that she isn't a dalmatian mix. He says he can see it in the shape of her head and body. So sadly we won't be getting her. Thanks for your help though.

She does not look like a dalmatian at all, doesn't mean it's not in there but it's highly unlikely. What do you mean "high strung"? They are very high energy. A lot of adults who were around for a while after the 101 Dalmatian movie see Dals as bad dogs because they were so heavily bred by BYBs at that time and also average joe with kids who saw the movie didn't bother to check if they were the right breed for them and got one just because they had been in a movie. So a lot of bad tempered, untrained, unexercised Dals were around at that time. So a lot of people from them have the wrong idea of proper Dalmatians, it's a shame.
