BigDog I tend to agree with your decision - a large herding breed is just way too much dog for most people, especially first time dog owners. I'm sorry you are having to give up your baby, it's so hard to do.

I am very glad, though, that you were able to make this decision, and I'm glad that Rocky is going to be able to be in an experienced home - you might even be able to stay in contact with the breeder and see Rocky every once in a while.

What a hard decision to make. I believe it was the right thing to do and I applaud your maturity to make it. I'm so glad your still sticking around. We'll miss your horribly if your were to leave.

Well, here's some news that I've already told a couple of my close friends on Chazhound:

He's leaving on Monday. I'm a li'l sad and was starting to get mixed feeling about the situation. But I know, it's for the best. I know if I keep him things won't progress... and possibly may get worst.

Ask Renee for a better explanation.

But as of now... that's what's goin' on.
