My flash came!!

Yippee!! Now I can start to play with indoor shots and stuff.

I have one huge question already though--when I take a picture, I'm getting reflective squigglies. How do I get that to stop??

I don't use flash too often but if you could post an example, I might be able to tell you what's happening.

I'll post when I dash home to get my cord. I don't have the ability to just pop my memory card right into my laptop. Wish I did, would make things much easier.

Ok, two examples. I need this fixed quickly, I'm supposed to be doing a shoot for the bar tonight and these photos will/might be used on the website as well. It looks like these were taken underwater, which could be a neat effect but not what I need right now!





I have an idea that it might be the bracing between the ceiling tiles and bouncing the flash isn't going to work like I'd hoped but suggestions are welcome!

Ok, ignore this thread. It is the metallic lathing between the ceiling tiles and I have to change how I'd planned to take shots to compensate. Sometimes I really hate needing a flash...

Did it not come with a diffuser? I rarely ever took the diffuser off of mine back when I used a camera. I'd say your lighting in the bar is pretty similar to some of the better lighting situations I had at some of the wrestling venues The diffuser takes care of that kind of reflections really well in my experience.
