For my own sanity Sawyer gets two walks a day. One at the begining of our day. That ranges weather permitting from 45 minutes- 2 hours. It just depends on how nice the weather is. And then one in the evening that usually just 30 minutes. And now that there isn't snow on the ground we have been going out back and playing fetch for about an hour everyday.
Maggie doesent go for walks daily. How about your dogs?

Once a day usually. I sometimes miss a walk, but we try not to.

Sorry to say I haven't !!! I really need to get my neighbor to walk with me !! Ollie is good walking , but if he decided to take off after something I'd fly flat on my face !!! We both need to walk !

Not that often. There doing alot of construction on the road I usually walk on (that I don't have to drive too) so we haven't walked in a month or two on a regular basis.
Since Baseball/Softball season is starting up I've taken Blaze (and Lizzie once she gets her rabies shot update) walking in the park/lake area.

Zack and Sasha usually get a 45 minute walk around the apartments every day.
That being said. 3 times a week we go for a 3 to 4 mile walk along the Greenway around the city. And that does them pretty good. But we also play a lot and we let them loose in my relatives yard to play with other dogs and we play fetch and tug rope.....man can my sasha pull.....she pulled me out of the bean bag chair when we were playing tug a war. We play fetch and we run. So even though walks aren't always long we do other things as well (sometimes they get two 45 minute walks a day) all depends on weather |

At home, they get no walks. At school Summer gets 2 walks a day. One is short about 15 minutes around the complex, the other is long (1 1/2- 2 hours) and at a park or on campus so very busy. I love walking her there.
At home, they get a good couple hours of play time in the back yard. We have acreage so they get to run as fast as they want and play with each other. Basically the rest of the day they're either asleep or wrestling with each other or playing fetch. No matter where we are, we do a lot of mental games, trick training, and obedience/agility practice. They enjoy learning new things much more than walking. It took me 2 hours this morning to go over everything with everyone.

Off the property... almost never.
We have 15 acres, 13 of which is the horse pasture. I take them out at least once a day, but usually twice, in decent weather (i.e., not pouring rain or sleeting) and we walk to the back of the horse pasture. |

Ideally, Happy gets 2-3 walks a day, ranging from half an hour to an hour, and then maybe one, two, or three trips to the dog park a week.

Mine get two 45 minute walks a day, plus some off leash run time. Living in an apartment exercise is crucial for my sanity.
