Default Another breed guess

We went to the local kill shelter yesterday, just to visit with all of the dogs and spend some time with them. I met this little girl there and absolutely couldn't leave without her. There was something about her that just pulled at me and I had to get her out of that place. She had been there 10 days already, she was an owner surrender. She didn't have much time left.

She weighs about 17-20 pounds (I need to get a better scale), not sure on her height... maybe 14 inches at the shoulders? I can measure her tonight. The shelter said she is 3 months old. They had her listed as a Collie mix.

Hmmmm! Border collie mix, maybe? The size seems about right for a BC. A little small for a rough/smooth collie.
She is CUTE!

Heck he looks like a purebred smooth collie at first glance, they are probably larger at that age but who knows. But maybe terrier of some sort in there.

I tend to agree with BC, but I can see why someone might think she has collie in her.

(Hey sheltie people, can a sheltie come in that color pattern?)

Actually, I see sheltie instead of collie in the face shape. I'd go with sheltie mix.

Whatever she is, she's awesome. I want her.

Yep, shelties can come in that color, but it's not allowed in shows. It's called color headed white.

I can't see border collie personally.
