Certainly a much more heartening ad than most on Craigslist, at least - they're being thoroughly honest about their dog's behaviour, and seem intent on finding an acceptable home.

You'd be amazed at how little they really eat, Romy, at least working lines. Consider that they are from an extremely impoverished area of Brazil. Meat was what was left on a carcass from the fazenda butchering (which wasn't much) or what the dogs caught on their own. Dogs who had to eat a lot didn't survive, let alone breed. The Fila, bred right, is a HARDY breed.

Pretty interesting. I guess the czars didn't have to worry much about getting dog food, lol.
