My dog enjoys to go through the motion on my leg *sudders* I usually say no and shake him off my leg. What should I do

How old is he? I remember Rocky did it a little when he was younger-- but... that's weird.
That remind me: neuter time.

Are you doing some of that NILIF? I would go ahead and tell him "no" firmly, but not harshly.....and remove him from your leg. Give him a command to sit, then down and praise for that. Start showing him you're the one that sets the rules. That can be a behavior that says that he is all that. Do work on obedience skills and a little bit of that nothing in life is free. Here's a site on that: http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/nothingfree.htm
I don't think you have to take it to the extreme and do every single thing, but do some of it along with obedience practice. Let that dog know that you control the stuff he likes and needs (food, treats, toys, attention) and he'll respect you more. Read about it. It should help. |

I agree with doberluv: you need to step up your pup's training. Nothing harsh needed, extra obedience work will remind him that he needs to listen to you, and that you control the good things in life (like treat distribution!). |
