Weim .... you can't blame us . You came in with an ad . No introduction as you why you joined . If you have been lurking for a while , you know that we are passionate about not breeding until a dog is grown , and tested at 2 years. At least you did answer . We had a new member once who was throughly trashed . She stuck it out and admitted after a while that she learned a lot from this forum .

WOW....didn't come to be educated? Did I really just read that?

Don't mind us...not like people here know anything about dogs...especially breeding. How silly of us.

There are 746 homeless wiems on petfinder. Your dogs are not top quality. Get your dogs fixed.

Not sure if som'one pointed it out and I missed it but CKC is a puppy mill registry.

I can break it down for you very easily why most members were not so welcoming.

First you don't post an introduction other than your name, and a link to your dogs for sale.

Your female is only a year old and already having a litter. This means you bred her on her very first heat. To say this is sad is an understatement.

You're breeding dogs that are CKC registered. I could dress my rabbit in a dog costume and registered him with the CKC and it'd go through. It's a crap registry, and only backyard breeders register with them. No reputable breeder would ever register with CKC.

Your dogs aren't even health tested. They've been looked at by a vet and declared flea free. What the hell? Health testing includes way more than that, and are tests to determine if the dog has any genetic problems. This includes testing their hips, eyes, elbows, and any other test for that particular breed to make sure that the puppies don't have problems later on when they are adults.

Your dogs are just plain house pets and you felt the need to breed because you had a male and a female. Your dogs aren't breeding quality, your female is underaged, neither dog is health tested, and neither one of them have any titles, whether it be from working or conformation or showing.

Reputable breeders breed to BETTER the breed. You are breeding to make a quick buck. And I assure you, at $450, you're getting something out of it. Because you haven't invested anything into the breeding, your two dogs simply got together and out came a litter that you are selling for $450.

I also see nowhere on the website does it mention that these puppies are being sold on a spay/neuter contract.

I see nowhere on this website do you require a home inspection and a potential adopter interview. All I saw was that you were willing to meet them somewhere. Whoopee.

Also, do you even own a whelping box? It's very sad to see a mother dog trying to nurse her puppies while they are sliding off of a sofa.

There's a lot of wonderful, reputable breeders on this forum that get very angry at backyard breeders that do exactly as you are doing. They struggle to better the breed, do all the necessary testing, title their dogs in different areas, and do a million other things in the process. So people have a real problem when a backyard breeder shows up with a care-free attitude such as yours. And there's a lot of people who spend their lives doing rescue work like I do, and who know that backyard breeders like you are why we have such an overpopulation of homeless dogs.

this is just plain sad. take a walk at your nearby shelter if you need any more reasons NOT to breed your dogs!!! there are plenty of dogs and cute little backyard breeder "i just wanted to breed my dogs cuz my dogs are cute" puppies and adults that find there way there. and guess what? purebred or not.. they get put to sleep!

HEALTH TESTING IS NOT ABOUT "luck" its about making sure that those pups dont grow up with genetic problems. Even if your 2 adults are healthy (for now) doesnt mean these pups will not grow up with hip dysplasia,ect.. if you had even bothered to do ANY research you wouldve tested those 2 adult dogs and known the risks.

the CKC? really?? WOOOOOOWWW WHAT AN AMAZING REGISTRY *sarcasm*
i could register my ferret with the ckc if i wanted to!
registry aside.. have your shown these dogs? of course not.

being a good friendly dog is a GIVEN!! not a reason for breeding dogs!
"nature" has nothing to do with it, they arent wolves. because wolves dont have an overpopulation problem, shelters full of dogs/puppies being put to sleep, and a great deal of genetic health problems.

i feel bad for your dogs, i feel bad for the puppies, but more than anything i feel bad for the clueless families who buy puppies from you.

Yes , I bred and didn't show but all had show backgrounds or show possibilities . I NEVER bred or bred to a dog that was under 2 years old and hadn't had OFA, CERF or heart testing . Knees weren't done then . Besides I cringe when I see pups being sold at HS prices !!! If you are a serious breeder , you charge serious prices . Not only have you put time and money into a litter , but " cheap " pups means new owners won't put the money into the proper care .
