I don't like the massive jowls on these dogs, honestly. But that might be correct for the breed... i just don't care for the look (or the drool).
And I agree with shadow that the poor puppy looks like a mess. =(

actually the original dane was heavier & less jowly. in fact it was confirmationally almost identical to the dogo argentino. the addition of sighthound caused the slabsided narrow chest & some scenthound caused the long rectangular high peaked head so popular in the USA.
