I always though canidae was a good food. My dogs love canidae its the only thing I have been able to get them to really eat. They had loose stool in the very begining swithing over but no problems since isent it safe it is all natural and im paying alot for the 40 pound bag about every 3-4weeks.

It used to be a pretty good food until they changed their fomula. Lots of pets had problems after eating the new formula. Mine for example did great on Canidae before the switch. After the formula changed they had runny stools along with stomach upset and some vomiting.

so is it really not safe then or is it okay they seem to be fine and they really like there food otherwise they have many other all natural foods where i go to get there food like innova evo.

I had issues when the formula switched, but my friend's dog who goes to the same store we went to, didn't have issues with it and still doesn't even after the formula change and he still feeds it. If your dogs don't have an issue with it, then I'll keep feeding it, its still a pretty good quality dog food, its just the whole formula change didn't set well on a lot of dogs.
